Release Notes for EEGer4 version 440s (10 July 2020)

WARNING: Installation of 440s (just as all previous installs) may delete any game customizations you have made.  The installers now check for customization, log the results, and allow you to abort the installation if found.  Please contact support at support@eeger.com for any assistance needed in re-customizing.

Feature Added:

Option to not require flash drives for remote users

This also adds a method to create remote users on remote systems without the use of USB flash drive and also provides a limit on repeatedly reusing the creation logic.

Add support for Veil game options

This game uses similar logic as the DVDgame but allows proportional control over the visibility of any browser window (perhaps displaying YouTube or something).

Wiz changes to read serial numbers more consistently

The *wiz logic was revised to better read the firmware and serial number versions.

Hide python error message with generic error message

No more Tk error messages; just a generic message to notify EEGstore support. There is a provision to copy the error messages with a click of a button.

Add option to show age and/or birthday of client

Configuration options (under HIPAA in EEGer Configuration options) to show either/both age or birthday.

Correct A4xx link command option in iotest

This works during realtime but for testing, it now works during the I/O test.

Visual (color) change in buttons of remote users (for support)

Buttons will show a light blue background if in remote user modes so support can verify easily.

Support new Fortress dongles

EEGer now supports a new generation of protection dongles that do not require a special driver.

Add support/process for updating keyfiles over internet

A new (semi-automatic) method of receiving keyfiles over internet has been implemented. EEGer will check with the keyfile server and will automatically install updated feature/license files.

Add support for GP8e, GP12e and Neurobit Optima amplifiers

EEGer keeps adding supported amplifier devices.

Added Custom Session plan in the Plan Stage interface

Now user can select a custom session plan for any client on a layout for which a custom session plan is pre-configured by the user. This will enable users to select common plans used for different clients.

View log by Techsupport Menu

User can open, read error logs through Techsupport menu (useful for troubleshooting EEGer)

Automatic flush and history reset when entering RUN state

Now EEGer will reset history and/or flush whenever the user presses F5 (entering RUN stage)

Support both Q20 and Q21 amplifiers with either CAN interface module version

Show CAL and Impedance modes on status line

Faster game startup

Removed floppy disk logic
